Dangerous Driving act 2008:



Section 1
The following offences are now carrying a 30 minutes jail time with a $10,000 fine and a license suspension;

*Speeding
*Reckless driving
*Reckless endangerment
*Dangerous manoeuvres on the road
*Hit & Run
*DUI (Drink driving)
*Driving without a license
*Car theft (Hotwiring etc.)
*GTA(Grand Theft Auto)



Section 2
The following offences are now carrying a 15 minutes jail time with a $5,000 fine and 3 license points;

*Parking dangerously
*Driving into on coming traffic
